Maybe a new settings menu 'affiliate networks' and then let us input a custom query parameter key name. Then to make it even better, we can define a few more things: affiliate commission %, attribution time span (cookie length). And that information can be used to calc ROAS for affiliates

we may eventually switch to a network like share-a-sale or cj.com. I believe each of those might need a separate API connection to retrieve order history - check out affilimate, which is a standalone affiliate data tool. They have connections to most of the major networks, potentially via one API access you might be able to pull data from them all. Of course that would require a agreement with the owner of that company.

Dreamedia AV: Thank you! Then we may start with Share-a-sale and CJ, these popular networks.

Dreamedia AV: There are 4 points to identify, track and measure your affiliate marketing.
- Existing affiliate links with UTM. Can identified by Attribuly now with "utm_medium=affiliate".
- Existing affiliate links without UTMs. We will let you upload your affiliate links so Attribuly can identify in the future.
- Futureare affiliate links. Attribuly generates a specific track id appending to your landing page URL. So create once all your future links areRetrieve tracked.
- Get commission, order, campaign information. Retrive from affiliate networks via API or postbacks.
We will test and publish this solution for UpPromote first, and then support share-a-sale, Impact and other popular networks. Feel free to send us more requests.
We have also checked Affilimate, thanks for your information. It's a API first solution to centralize your affiliate measurement which we will follow.

Hey Eric, most affilate softwares support postback URL. like this: https://domain.test/?affiliate_id={affiliate_id}&program_id={program_id}&sca_source={sca_source}&order_id={order_id}&total_sales={total_sales}&total_commission={total_commission}(This is from UpPromote). So you can simply configure the postback, then Attribuly understand these conversions are from which affiliate networks, and get the commssion then put into cost for ROAS cal. What's your opinion? May I know your affiliate software? Dreamedia AV

I don't have hundreds of active individual affiliates, but those affiliates have placed individual links in hundreds of youtube descriptions, social media posts, articles, emails and more.
A big store might have many individual affiliates. and matching the query parameter _value_ to a specific attribuly influencer would be nice. I think that most users will have a few primary affiliates that drive most sales, so manually defining them would be fine.
But many stores have customized affiliate % commissions for each affiliate. so aside from the base rate assigned in the general settings, if each influencer had an override commission % setting that could help.

Dreamedia AV: Excited to share that our first affiliate integration with UpPromote has been launched. This API integration lets you pull links from UpPromote directly to track the whole customer journey. https://attribuly.canny.io/changelog/track-uppromote-clicks-and-purchases-with-our-new-integration
We are also checking the commission interface to get the ROAS for you affliate marketing.
Do you use other affliate tools? Let us know the most popular tools so we are starting to integrate soon!
